Business Resource Alliance Group® - These groups meet weekly and are designed to maximize business interaction and business development through building relationships within the group. The purpose of these groups is to exchange business leads through the referral process. Membership in these groups are restricted to Sterling Heights Area Chamber Members and those groups licensecd under the program since B.R.A.G. is a copyrighted program designed by the Sterling Heights Area Chamber of Commerce.
BREAKFAST & BUSINESS
Chamber members are broken into groups of 4-6. There are three 20-minute sessions, Each member will have 3-5 minutes to speak about their business, products or services to the others. Hosting location provides breakfast items and business cards collected for door prize drawings.
AMBASSADORS COMMITTEE
Ambassadors fulfill an important support function for the chamber.They help to welcome new members and guide fellow members at chamber events. They represent the chamber membership at groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings, and grand opening celebrations. Most importantly, they help the chamber to retain members by visiting them before renewal and informing them of the new chamber programs and benefits that are available. They also alert the chamber staff to any issues or concerns they discover while meeting with members.
SPEAKERS BUREAU
From time to time the Chamber of Commerce receives requests from clubs, schools, groups and organizations for speakers. The Chamber is well aware of the many diversified talents within our membership. To help in utilizing all the expertise that our members have through lecturing, seminars or training sessions the Chamber has made available to clubs, groups and organizations contacts through our speakers bureau.
NEW MEMBER/NEW CONTACT "AFTER 5"
Hosted by the Chambers Ambassadors these quarterly events offer members and guests a chance to meet and exchange business cards and information in a relaxed semi-social environment hosted by a membered restaurant.
NETWORKING SEMINARS
Presented by the Business Resource Alliance Groups twice a year, these seminars usually feature a speaker, offer business representatives and owners a chance to meet and exchange information on helpful networking tips.
